The Gregg Allman Band - Just Before the Bullets Fly (not that great)

Gregg Allman - Low Country Blues (very nice sound quality and performance)

The Allman Brothers Band - S.U.N.Y. at Stonybrook (poor sound quality, unremarkable performance)

David Byrne & St Vincent - Love This Giant (weird but good)

Soundgarden - King Animal (terrific)

And I just finished reading Gregg Allman's autobiography My Cross to Bear (thus all the Allman-related music above), interesting but a little... crude.

very nice gs1000.gif I've been looking for the first dethalbum but the vinyl seems hard to find

It's not hard to find, it's just retarded expensive.

$100 is a bit steep. That's the lowest I've seen in awhile, actually.

Pentangle - Basket of Light
Never heard any of their material before. Part of the British Folk Rock scene from the late 60s early 70s. Strummy acoustic guitar sounds very well put together.
Gavin Degraw - Gavin Degraw
Never heard of this chap before but I don't get out much. Enjoying so far.
Juke Box Jive - 60 sequentially sequenced tracks from the golden age of rock n roll
I have diverse tastes and as you can tell no shame.
U2 - The best of 1990-2000
Saw them at Cardiff Arms Park in 1988 on their Achtung Baby tour. Now the last tracks on here are approaching 15 years old. Frightening isn't it?
Echo & the Bunnymen - Ocean Rain 25th Anniversary
Am still lost somewhere in the 80s with much of my musical taste

That's a snippet of some christmas presents. I did very well.

Mary Lou Williams Trio at Rick's Live 1979- on CD made in Denmark gs1000.gif I really really like this one!!!

John Williams Plays Bach on Sony Classical Great Performances on CD using DSD o2smile.gif so nice is this one

Stravinsky: "The Firebird" The Atlants Symphony Orchestra/Robert Shaw Borodin: Overture & Dances from Prince Igor, on German pressed vinyl. Sounds near perfect and used some of the best recording equipment of it era if I'm not mistaken, 1977

David Gilmour "On An Island" 2006 CD: Sounds more like Pink Floyd to me than most of his other stuff, 2 thumbs up on first listen

High Violet "The National" on 4AD Records 2010, CD was an impulse buy because I'd never heard them. It's Interesting and worth a listen

All these and many more found used but near mint at used music stores this week. Good times:>

Oh I see, the either get the albums :P, or sometimes when I purchase an album online directly from a band (usually most small bands w/o lable do this) I'm able to purchase it in ALAC. I think the site they usually sell from is Band camp, I'm not sure though
