I was kidding

i cant give fair imressions yet since I have to use my grados atm, and imo the sr-80s are far from the level of headphones required for critical listening.

I have my senns with the 1/4" hd650 stock cable, and my own senn cable is over at the atlanta meet with my 1/4" to 1/8" adapter :P

I have to build one tonight I guess for my own use, so I can have the senns work with the amp, Im a bit tired so I might not be able to run a fair comparison.

with my grados, the amp sounds warm from my inititial impressions running it out of my sacd with my silver LOK interconnects. Ill plug in my akgs and see how well they drive 600 ohm cans

but yes, this amp is definately biased towards the mids, its a warm amp, with my grados they dont even sound bright, given Ive modded the heck out of them as is, the real test will be with the senn hs600s

I dont have my super mini moy, but I recall the super mini moy to be brighter.

That's very nice, if they are warm sounding. Love warm sound and low noise. It's more listenable for long periods.

How about listening to the stock 650 cables while you build your own Senn cable?

You must have destroyed the stock HD600 cable with the mini connector when you first saw that POS, huh? Cut it up to use the connectors for a DIY cable I assume.

Sweet! I love warm amps! Now if this amp can tame the Grado highs that very much bother me (esp. on the 325i/MS-2i) then it'll be very tempting to get!

My AKGs are analytical and BRIGHT, not as bright as the grados, but bright,

theyre bright on my tube amp, but the ae-1 tames this, I still need to reconsider if this is good or bad for me, since Im so used to the brightness,
It may be just an issue of me accustoming to the sound.

This is definately is not a bright, its definately on the mids biased,

the akgs seem a bit too much, I recieved the normal gain version of the amp, and hints of clipping distortion appear at above normal listening levels, at normal comfortable levels its fine with the 600 ohm cans,

I assume the senns should fair well with the amps power.

some early impressions,

the amp is freakin light.

YES its light! lighter then what I was expecting, this is not much heavier then my super mini moy,

This amp is a solid block, it looks and feels better in person, the pics on the head amp site do not do it justice.

Cute factor is definately there, its like a small block all sides flush and did I say its small? The head amp pics make it look large, but this amp is only about 20% larger then the case used on the sm3 and supermini moy.

Yeah, that is one beautiful piece, with an awesome sound signature to match, if what you're saying is true!

shorter then a credit card and just slightly wider in width

This WILL fit in your pocket,

I dont think you can get as hardcore as this amp and have it still fit in your pocket, this is some serious portable firepower.
