What was your final bill for shipping, amp, etc. after all was said and done on ordering LDII? I think everybody in the US would like to see what the bottom line price would be. Thanks.

"Hello,

It is ok. I just got the shipping price for Mirco from Mr. yang. It is
140RMB about 17.5 USD (DHL). So, Total cost for Mirco in US will be
around 45.68 USD (DHL and insurance included).

Thanks
Zunqiu"

No, it isn't a large difference. I'm sure it's easier to purchase through Zunqiu, and if I had a bit more money to spare, I would purchase one through him. But as I'd like to save as much as possible, I will likely end up purchasing through Yang himself, or with the ipodstudio group buy if the price is around $85 or less.

I ordered the LDII from Mr. Chen also for the same $111.80 last week. I'll ask him what the price looks like for the Micro...

Can't wait to hear impressions on these little guys. A comparison with one of the more well known tube amps around here would be great.

Why aren't people waiting for the LD III and just buying the LD II, it's almost out right? Haha I hope I can purchase the LD III before I leave.

why would we spend 40$ more on an amp just to power your headphones and mini speakers? I personally dont need an amp to power mini speakers, and i dont have any mini speakers in the first place.

I think the size and price of the LD II are very attractive. I'm sure the LD III will be a great amp, and also a bargain at its price, but I don't have much need for it personally. I admit it does look very nice though

How many LD dealers around anyway?

It seems that there are AT LEAST 2 North American dealers, one charging USD$111 (zunqiu@gmail.com) and the other charging USD$105 (eBay) for the LDII.

Any idea anyone?

Does anyone know how easy the tubes are to find? What sort they are and where to get spares from?

While it might be a cheap amp these things should be a factor when buying a tube amp.
