I'm considering selling this to fund a pair of B&K SS monoblocks I have my eyes on. Its in prestine condition, took great care of it. It has approximatly 150 hours, I'm the second owner. It comes with box, manual and remote control. This unit is 120v for US voltage, if you're from Europe you'll need a voltage converter. Pics on request. The retail price was 250USD (after mods).
Some details from Voodoochile regarding the mods done to the player:
- Swenson wiring
- Bridge rectifier bypass caps (that's a me-mod, since it's not part of Vinnie Rossi or Swenson mods)
- Damping installed
- Upgraded the bypass caps where the power comes into the board, and also near the main processor.
- Installed a heatsink on the processor also, as it already runs hot and adding the damping does not aid cooling.
This is described as coming close to a modded Emu 0404 soundcard in a thread here, a very nice starter source. Oh did I mention it plays region 1 DVDs?
