how many of you guys cook??? - Page 136

Wings will be bought a 10 this morning. They'll rest in the fridge for 8 hours because I can't wait 18. BUT... I'M getting double the amount that I usually get so that the other half will be able to rest for longer when I make them again for Sunday, and Monday. He cannot be stopped!

 

Well at least that is my plan.

In the meantime, here's a crunchy onion celery mayo tuna bacon cucumber sriracha pepper on a bacon fat fried bun sandwich.

Darn darn darn. No chicken wings at the market so I bought some drumsticks. Should I make them the 5ace classic way or with the magic baking powder salt dust?

Darn darn again. I only got 2 whole chicken legs. And they are crispy good!

For supper tonight: Leftover spaghetti squash medley with sauteed mushrooms and scallions, tossed with fresh watercress and garnished with toasted pine nuts over quinoa, which I steamed with garlic oil and Italian seasoning.

grokit--that sounds awesome. I love everything in your spaghetti dish.

 

There's this place that I go to to pick up lunch. It is a quinoa salad with corn, grape tomatoes, arugula, and ricotta and basil. Yummy!

Fried hot dog sandwich made with sprouted grain & seed bread.

Kosher dill pickle on the side.

No time to plate this; eaten right off of the cutting board.

The other half of this sandwich is in my tummy.

 

Snack of prime rib on pureed potatoes, in other words, more liquidy mashed potatoes ;)

 

Prime rib as a snack!?   Lucky!

 

I made a little pork chop BBq thing in a take out container to fool myself into thinking it was from a take out place.

 

It kinda worked.

 

 

Good idea.

I failed to mention that that prime rib "snack" was one of three servings that I had. I made a one ribber and devoured it standing up. Well, almost all of it. My neighbor dropped by and got some of the scraps.

Can't get enough of ...

Another fried hot dog sandwich:

Fried franks slathered with mayonnaise and curry ketchup and placed between two slices of sprouted grain & seed bread.

Kosher dill pickle on the side. Tater Tots with homemade curry ketchup (can't get the real stuff in a bottle).

This time I waited patiently before eating.
