I am the second owner of this ART DI/O. I am selling it because it doesn't get used as much as I would like, and with the impending move back to the dorms (sigh) I would like to have to store as little as possible at the parent's place.
I took the 4 screws that hold it together out when I was swapping between tubes and those 4 screws got lost during one of my moves (I can't count them anymore), but the top plate is on there pretty tight, you can pick it up by the top plate and shake it pretty good and it won't budge (I can shoot a quick vid if you need proof).
As for the tubes, I can not guarantee they work, that’s why there are two of them, if both do not work and you really want a 12AX7, I can have one sent to you, but trust me, it sounds much better without the tube in there.
