I have had some DT770-80 pros since xmas and I dont think im getting everything I can out of these cans. I was wondering whats a good amp to buy, hopefully under $150, that would give these more power. I dont want a really big thing. I use the cans mainly with my ihp-120. I just dont know what all im looking at when i read the forums, there are so many different ones. If you could just name a couple for me to look into further that fit my needs. Thanks in advance.

are you looking for a portable or a home amp?

Are you looking for portability? Even if you aren't, I suggest looking in the classifieds for some used amps. There are always great deals on nicer portable amps and some Pimeta's.

Mainly for home, but my parents are divorced so I would want to bring it between the 2 houses. I dont want it to be too big.

Just throw out some names and explain what they are do. Thanks

I've been happy with my SuperMacro v1 with my 770-250s. Put the OPA604 in it, and it's a good match.

I would choose a JMTAUDIO Burr-Brown OPA627/OPA637 PIMETA, without the crossfeed of course.
