Hey I just spotted that we belong to the same team. I just don't tell that to anyone. But I think everyone knows it anyway.

Yeah I auditioned SR225 at the same time and didn't like it at all. Maybe grado sound isn't for me. I think for me there would definitely be bigger gap when MS2 --> 404 than 650 --> 404.

hey dj, i noticed you use silver audiogeek ic's. I just bougt some 404's and will be getting a kgss and was wondering if you think im better of upgrading my oxyfuel cables. Also if i do get diff ic's should i go with silver? why? thanks.

I never tried the Zu Oxyfuel, so I can't really make a suggestion, really.

IMO, cables won't make a day and night difference on the system, but you also don't wanna use a radioschack cables for something like Stax system.

Why don't you see how that setup goes in your system, then if you are not happy then you can go again (and think what to change) from that point?

So do you agree?? that The Stax are the best electrostatic
Headphones created?

Don't know, haven't tried any other non-Stax electrostats...
Japan's best headphones? That's tough call, you have the likes of R10s, L3000s, etc.. All I know is my system is not the best one out there, but I love it.
