They go for around the same price here. Wich one sounds better and provides better isolation? Or shall I get the Sennheiser HD 201? That one would go for around 50 dollars including shipping to Mexico. Which one would you pick?

why not spend a bit more and ket the Koss UR40, they aren't bad.

I was thinking about something sealed, since those cans have the grill on the back I have to wonder about how much they isolate from the outside. But I have to admit those are good, a friend here has the Radioshack version.

i have the xd 200s and they are very cheaply crap built. So the 100s cant be better. The movie mode just like closes the diaphragm and make a little more bass.

Okay, so I guess that leaves the Koss cans. Which one has the better seal, the UR-20 or the UR-40? Tnx.

Well then, in any case, how would you categorize the seal on the UR-40, compared to any other sealed cans you have heard?

Too bad, I like the way they look. Anyway, I really need sealed cans, any suggestions?

IIRC, the UR20 is the one that has giant cups with twistable mechanism? if so...stay away from it. it sounds really muddy and muffled. possibly the worst phone i've ever put on in my life...cept b0$e. it doesnt even rival those sony MDR CD180-280 or so. I have yet to hear how the xd200 sound...should "loan" one from walmart

I have UR20's. Stay away.

Terribly muffled, even before I was on headfi, and loved stock Sony earbud sound, the UR20's sounded terrible to me.

about hte bose part, you are really mislead. Bose isn't terrible, they are just overpriced. They will sound better than cheap crap.

How about those Sony canalphones? Do they have good isolation and sound?

I dont like them, too screachy, but they are pretty comfortable.

Look for the Creative Canal buds that are an imitation of the MD33.

They look nice, but Creative doesn't have them for sale here in Mexico.
