AS-B1 = 100 pair + 20ship = 120 pair

How amazing a deal are these by the way, should I immediately make the order without hesitating?

PS i don't know a thing about speakers, but I want to get a setup and don't want to miss out on a crazy deal. Thanks!

ok, that clears it up : $300 is definitely way beyond my budget, I wasnt sure if $150 was for each piece or a pair since no one really mentioned it.
quite honestly I am not sure if I should go for it.. I am more than satisfied with what I have now, and this would mean less funds left available for my headphone rig upgrades

I used the super saver shipping option from Audio Advisor and I only paid $108 total.

Well I just picked these up sight unseen (heard?). It was $114 total, no super saver shipping for some reason.

I sure hope these are as good of a deal as you all say they are. I sure anything will improve over what I have now!

I will post impressions when I get them, but I would be curious to hear what you guys think!

ive got a pair of ASB2s paired with the t-amp in my bedroom, and its just awesome for a small room. plenty of juice for when i wanna crank it up.

I went to my local Best Buy store and found that they have newer, slimmer Athena speakers but not AS-B1. But all speakers are displayed in open, noisy space. There is no way to tell how anything sounds.

I have the AS-F1's. The towers with single 8" and 1" tweeter. I love em! They're probably the best floor standers available for the money. Powered by the HK AVR-130 receiver it's a match made in heaven.

They got cheap on their new models though, just look at the weight difference between the originals and the .2 models. Cheaper materials.
