I bought these headphones just for the fun of it, to see how they sound with all that apparently amazing bass.
Well, for $50, they're ok sounding for extra bass headphones. They do have a...
Bought it some time ago, based on user reviews. Straight out of the box it seemed huge, especially compared to my old Cowon D2. Also, sound was awful. Granted, I don't have large hi-fi cans, only...

I’m a basshead. I say that loudly and proudly, even though some folks believe basshead and audiophile are mutually exclusive. Obviously, I’m not in that camp. But sometimes, I...
I read reviews on this and I said let me try this out, for $10 I couldn't lose. This surpassed all of expectations for a $10 IEM.
I am going to purchase a set for my wife, she was also blown...
so can the hornet be op amp rolled like the supermacro or is that not possible? Some headfiers like to op amp roll like tube rolling tube amps for different flavours of sound.
One of my dynahi's has a voltage gain of 10 and definitely
drives K1000's with the authority that few other amps can match.
Enjoy!

I think part of the confusion here is the gain settings that can be configured for the Dynahi. I doubt that Tyrion's had the default gain setting as most are configured lower to allow Grado's and other low impedance headphones a little bit of range. My Dynahi is configured with the default gain setting and even with my K340's, I only turn the volume up to about 12 oclock. With Grado's it is _very_ loud even at the lowest volume setting.

That is exactly what I surmised in my earlier posts.
