Zana Deux

"Hold the wire, folks". The new "Eddie Current Zana Deux" , will be here after the DM-2. As some of you may know, the Zana was the best headphone amp ever produced by MOTH Audio. Only very very few made for very rich people. The Eddie Current "Zana Deux" is the building of an amp, with expectations to get it as close to the sound of the original Zana as possible without the excessivly high manufacturing costs associated with the original Zana. It is developed from the mind of the never sleeping genius Craig Uthus, of Eddie Current/Moth fame. The layout and math is done. A rough parts proto was set-up, measured, and tested. Now that must be assembled into a base cabinet, listened to and tweeked. Then it will arrive here for a final listen. I will report on it and the EC2A3, DM-1, DM-2, differences for you. The amp uses one 6J5 and one 6C33B, per channel.

What a nice looking amp! And I LOVE 6C33C tubes! Mikey01, are you saying the Zana Deux will have the same tube compliment? Should be a MUST audition if so.....

I'm completely lost now too

But i agree, that's one beastly looking amp. The instant the Deux hits the market, someone needs to do a review. Pronto
