Inexpensive speaker stands that just tilt...

I'm looking for a basic pair of inexpensive speaker stands that maybe raise the speakers an inch or 2 off the ground (or not) and tilt them at an angle. I'm not sure where I can order these. I used own a pair that was made of metal rods with rubber covering it where the speakers sat. Any ideas? Thanks.

I don't know of any stands like that othert than the Mapleshade ones, and those are pretty expensive. Sounds like the perfect case for some DIY stands!

Troll ebay for a while. They come up. Perhaps not 2" but short enough.

My dad actually made his own speaker stands out of concrete patio blocks cemented together and painted black. Cost him like $5 a pop and makes for great dampening. He made them so the dogs don't pee on his floorstanding Technics

I think what you had was an IKEA model, I had the same once. Don't know if they still have them.
