Yes and no. Larry made the trim pieces for my K340's, but I made the woody inserts for my Goldring DR150's.

Piffles I have that same Logitech force feedback wheel, and it's awesome! I've had it for over 6 years and it's still the best wheel made.

@ Towert7: Thanks. That guitar is my proudest possession. It's a hand-crafted classical guitar by Luthier José Luis Postigo from Sevilla, Spain, who's also a quite well-known, locally that is, Flamenco guitarist. I bought it while I was studying down there as an exchange student. Best time of my life, no doubt about it! I've had it for two years now and I'm still as excited about it as I was when I first picked it up.

@ swt61: Yeah, I've had that wheel for longer than I can remember too. Don't really use it that much anymore, just the occasional lap on GPL to remind me of the good old days when I was still really into sim racing. Don't have enough time to dedicate to it anymore, shame. It's true wheels kind of went down hill after the Formula Force, nothing decent around for years. Seems Logitech have picked things up again recently: the Driving Force Pro and the G25 look pretty cool.

Towert7 - Do you have more pics of your desk? I saw a desk at a furniture store that might be simular to yours and i loved it. It's been a long time and now i'm looking for a new desk like the one i saw.

The best picture I have without taking a new one is this:

It's an O'Sullivan desk. Fake wood, but it's still quite nice, and very sturdy!
I got it at circuitcity on sale when they phased out all of their computer desk furniture.

I think this is a great picture. Simple and clear showing everything nicely laid out.

Here is my no-frills setup I have next to my TV and couch. It consists of:

Bed Bath and Beyond Banana Holder ($9.99)

Wal-Mart End Table (Two for under $20 biggrin.gif. Ugly as sin, but gets the job done)

Headroom Micro Amp (love it! Best amp yet!)

Fiio E9

Under that I have an Oppo DVD/CD player and my Asgard which I don't use anymore.

All my other headphones are usually scattered across the couch normal_smile%20.gif

(Sorry my camera is not that good and I'm a poor photographer)

hey tdockweiler, how's the AKG K601 with the E9? Ive heard the K601 is quite power hungry

It drives them extremely well and sounds good. Even better than my Asgard which doesn't seem to have good synergy with the K702/K601. HD-600 is better on the Asgard though of course (but not the HD-650).

The K601 on my Asgard (only) has this really annoying lower treble peak, but on the E9 the K601's sound signature is quite smooth and very non-fatiguing with MOST of my music.

I've found that the K601 is just very non-forgiving of very brightly mastered recordings though. Specifically some annoying Japanese Pop i have. It seems like maybe the K601 pairs up well with the E9 because it's fairly neutral. That slightly lower treble peak is less of a problem on the E9 with the K601.

I think my K601 sounds better out of my E9 than the K702! For my K702 I prefer my Micro Amp by far. My HD-650 I also don't love on the E9, but it's really quite good on my Micro Amp.

BTW I know volume doesn't mean anything, but with my E9 and K601 I have to crank the volume up about 5% more than the K702, so not too bad.
