See rnb and pinkie's systems. Guess it's a classic case of ***** envy. Nothing is ever good enough and I'm never satisfied I suppose. Of course, folks around here will never be lacking a good deal as a result of my dementia. Buy high and sell low. Guess that's my strategy.

My little system in mess.

I keep the AD2000 on a cushion beside the PC.

I don't have the Pro-Ject Head Box anymore.

This photo was for an AD2000 vs. RS-1 comparison, which I never got around to.

Four headphones.

Is that a Dell 2405? The large 24" monster??

Or is it the Dell 2005?

I see we have similar tastes....

- Lian Li cases for the two of us.
- Headamp amps for the two of us.
- HD650s.
- Dell 2405 (Mine is in the mail)
- Banana Hanger C
- EVEN the SAME Alarm clock with the bells on top!!!
Well, I guess I'm just going to have to post my setup then.

That's not the 2504. The 2504 has 5 buttons close to eachother and the selection lights to the left of them. It also has a larger card reader/usb area on the left side. And while there seems to be a number of PC based systems, might as well throw mine into the mix. No banana hanger, but keeping with the Dell LCD, Lian-Li, HD650 motif. And I must say, I absolutely love how the Grados manage to fit so perfectly in the desk drawer. Perfect storage option - easy access, no dust. Now if only RME would get some x64 drivers out there before I go mad and do something reckless like buy a DAC1 or something hehe.

"A true teammate!"

But alas no, it is a Dell 2001FP, 20.1'' LCD that has served me well for a long time!

You should see my other alarm clock thats the size of a pizza...

So are the PSP stockbuds synergic with the chinese tubey?
Ive been burning in my psp buds for about 1150 hours, I think I just need 400 hore hours to go before the psp buds are fully burned, in, the psp buds are a different animal now compared to unburned.

My muvo slim also needed something to take advantage of the Hi fidelity 320 bit rate mp3s. Im burning in my digital muvo player also clocking in at a whopping 1200 hours. Im on my 3rd set of el84s for burning process, its well worth it for my psp buds.

I also needed to unleash the power of the muvo so I had to removed the bottle neck with some larger conductors, I was orignally using 4 awg, but I felt that the signal was still being limited by the tiny conductors so i opted for 1 awg conductors to unleash the animal instincts of the mighty muco slim.

Wow RnB180 those cables could probably be used as a deadly weapon.

Here is the smaller "listening station" I have set up in my rather small bedroom. I apologize for the artifacting in some of the shots--I didn't have a lot of light in the room and didn't use a tripod, so I had to sharpen some of the images when resizing.

See if you all can guess what my favorite headphone manufacturer is...

The headphone amplifier shown is my "portable" unit. It is all discrete (uses no chips) and definitely unique in design, though it is certainly nothing revolutionary. I can take it along with that portable CD player (tweaked Optimus CD-3490) to work or on trips away from home.

In case it is difficult to tell, the headphones are Beyerdynamic DT-990 PROs, DT-660s, DT-801s, and AKG K501s.

As we speak, some Sennheisers are on their way to joining those trusty headphones. I never thought I'd entertain that idea... but one has to be open-minded, right?

I'm still toying with the idea of obtaining some AKG K270s 'phones... I just can't make up my mind, nor can I get past the fact that I have only one head.

From a distance (not much of a distance though, damn small room)

Everyone has come out to play!

Which one do I listen to this time? I can never decide.

The amp and CD player

The amp, consuming about 25 mA (or so) while patiently waiting for some action
