How do you pronounce Grado?

I've always pronounced it with an "ODD" sound (gr-odd-o). But when I ordered my 325's from soundseller.com the other day, the guy pronounced it like play-doh (gray-doh).

So, which is it?

when I called customer service with some stuff they answered Gray-do.

Definite Answer

Actually, this issue was brought up a long time ago. I, along w/ a couple of headwizers, had the chance to talk to Mr. Grado (the son) himself. The name should be pronounced as "gray-doh".

Yup. I've always pronounced it GRAY-dough. Now, the real question, is it BAY-er or is it BUY-er? inside joke for Jude

Heh, I always thought it was graa-doe too.

I guess that answers that question. Now "upgrado" is even more clever than I previously thought.
