Moon Audio Blue Dragon Ver. 2 - the Best Yet - Page 2

Black Dragon is so much better than Blue Dragon its not even a question sound wise. It just beats it on all fronts while having a very balanced musical sound. However, it is a thicker and stiffer cable.

I don't think the Oehlbach cables can be found anywhere or am I mistaken? Actually, I did consider the Headphile cable. The Moon-Audio cables are much more popular than the Headphiles cable in this forum so there are only a few reviews.
I remember from the "woodies" - thread that you own a headphile-cable yourself. Could you post some of your impressions here? It will be very helpful.
I've also considered the Zu-cable. I can get them for about 160 € new (3m). But lot of people say that the synergy between HD 600/ 580 and the Zu sucks and I'm hesitating of getting one (even if the price is very tempting).

By the way, does anybody know whether I have to pay taxes or not if I buy second-hand stuff from over-sea and ship them to europe? Because the idea of getting a used cable is actually getting more appealing.

I'd go with the impression given by another head-fier: that it is a smooth- and relaxing-sounding cable. To my ears, the cable is on the lean side of sound (probably the effect of the all-silver conductors), and as a result, highlights the highs more (slight sparkly effect). The all solid-conductor design lends the cable a bit of stiffness but it is still reasonably flexible. This is the BlackSilver series. I would have liked to go with the all-copper design but the asking price would have brought it well over what I consider acceptable for a cable.

HIHs. Cheers!

p.s. Check the import tax rule in your country. Here in Australia, as long as the item is used and below a certain value threshold, it should not be taxed.
