FS: Toshiba "Tushi" SD3960 DVD Player modded by Voodoochile

I hate to do this, but I need funding for my starting tube quest, and I have to sell the beloved tushi. I do not make much use of it anyway, and I'm sure someone else will be interested in it

Since I've had it its been used maybe 100 hours. It sounds great, the 192kHz 24bit audio DAC inside does its job well.

Some details from Voodoochile regarding the mods done to the player:
- Swenson wiring
- Bridge rectifier bypass caps (that's a me-mod, since it's not part of Vinnie Rossi or Swenson mods)
- Damping installed
- Upgraded the bypass caps where the power comes into the board, and also near the main processor.
- Installed a heatsink on the processor also, as it already runs hot and adding the damping does not aid cooling.

Not to mention the upgraded power cord, and of course, the remote, original box, and manual. The retail price for this unit modded was 250USD, I'll let it go for 175USD + shipping. I am not looking for any trades

Edit: In case you're wondering, this also plays region 1 DVDs, not that it matters much...

just to let folks know, it will also play a data cd filled to the top with MP3s. then you can use the visual menu as a browser to choose what songs you want to hear - it WILL keep the tag active so you can read what you're listening to!

and of course it will play mp3 in an audio cd format automatically. hope that helps a sale!
