Please *don't* just stumble idly around the grounds looking for the meet, just check at the main office (it's right at the main drive, very obvious) There are residents on the grounds and they get enough people driving through lost as is

so, uh Rem,
If you're bored (yeah right) can you whip up some of that salsa and grab some chips for us? looks like the road to foodsville might be a bit dreary for us this time around. Besides, it's not like Tyll can just close up shop half way through and grab some Jin-Wah, yet he is bound to be hungry.

I suppose our only real choice is to order pizza, or have someone do a Chinese food run for varieties sake, and set up a table as far from the electronic equipment as possible. I figure we should delay this until halfway through so that undedicated few disappear as our first meet, and we can get down to business (course this is likely to backfire with so many aging, memory affected, budgie-like folks planning to attend).

Guess we will just have to wing it

Hungry... for more HD280's!
Hell yeah, Rem, that salsa+chip combo was the tops, I'll totally second that!

My food preferences? If there's food, I'll eat it. That's how I roll
(oddly enough can't fight the hankering for a Sourdough Jack or Classic Triple w/ Cheese though)

Whatever happens, the meet'll be great. And no freak heartburn incidents from me this time(it was not Jin Wah, btw)- that was just a one time thing *crosses fingers*...

I mine as well post this cause i keep obsessing over it:
Last meet I was asking about the pronounciation of Tyll's name. I'm Montanan and haven't seen the name before, but I thought it was pronounced "til" as in the word until, somebody remember?

Thanks

Hah, I thought it was like Kyle with a T. I actually have no freakin' clue though.

It looks like I'll be bumming a ride to the meet so I won't be bringing my computer. I will still bring my SA5000, A900, and UM2 along with some cd's and M3L.

Sounds like "tile" as in floor tile.

Crap- I have to work in Astoria tomorrow. I don't know what time I will get back. I may miss the meet.

"Tile" ?

Looking forward to tomorrow! Hopefully he'll have some SR325i's for me to hear

It's pronounced tile. As in, "His parents first thought that their destiny in life was directed towards starting a promising career in bathroom tile. However, they decided to be more realistic and ruin their new son's future social life."

Not sure if I'll be able to make it to this one. I came in early to work and I still have a lot of stuff that needs to be done.

So... Gigabomber and I were headed down to Salem to pick up Seeberg when his fan belt snapped. His car overheated and he had to call triple A. I just got back to my house and Gigabomber is having his car towed to his house. It doesn't look like either of us is going to be able to make it to this one.

Oh sh**- and Gigs' car just got out of the shop, damn. My apologies go out to Gigabomber and James Bean- sorry guys I sure hope there's a next meet in the near future. Well, at this point, all I can ask is that anyone with a camera in attendance, please post pics!

(Oh, and if there are any used HD580's around at that meet that need a good home, I'd love to buy a pair--I'm jonesing to try out that sound and the upgraditis won't go away until I get them).

I hope those that did get to make it have a great time, and of course, tell us all about it.

Man, that really stinks guys, shame you can't make it, just a couple of us here now, guess we'll just have to hog the goods to ourselves for a while

Seriously though, bummer. Hopefully at least a few folks can make it....
