Well...I got this speaker amp to use with speakers and apparently its good with some select headphones too. I know its good with Sennheiser HD580/600 but I don't know what other 'phones sound good with it. All I remember is that the headphones that are higher in resistance (or was it impendance) work well with the A35r. I was also looking at the DT880 but I wasnt sure if those work well with the A35r.
I tried the HD600 at a friends place with an Audigy 2 (yeah I know) and some amplifier (he doesnt know the make) and it wasnt too appealing. But I guess the source and amp were subpar so that might have been the reason. He's a gamer so thats the reason he has an A2.
My source will be some soundcard like the E-MU 0404 or an SD4960... I'm not sure yet... Leaning towards an EMU.
Anyway... Does anyone know the answer to my question?
