Hey Guys - I'm bringing printed directions with me tomorrow, but also just PM both of you with details.

I talked to Mike Dias this evening, and have a few last minute details for the tour.

First, Mike is going to be joining us for the after-party at BRBJackson’s!

Second, along with Mike, Jerry Harvey- the inventor and creator of Ultimate Ears will be on hand for a Q&A session during the tour.

Important Revision:
Mike encourages all attendees to bring their gear with them to the tour. Listening stations will be set up in the conference room so UE products can be listened to alongside the headphones and equipment you will be using to listen to your own/other’s gear with.

Finally, be sure to be there promptly by 3:00. There might be traffic, so plan your driving times accordingly.

Definitely time to move the thread and to put an attendee list up front. I’ll get on the later tonight.

Any word about camera usage?

I'm not lugging my camera equipment if I can't take any pics.

I have a new lens I've been eager to try out.

I didn't get word on photos. I'm bringing my camera along in hopes that there will be ample opportunities, but no final word.
May have to file this under "Easier to get forgivness than permission."

You all will have a blast -- I was there a few days ago and got a tour of sorts....both when I had my impressions done there free of charge by UE and also when I was back to pick them up. There was a slight issue with fit so I explained it and had them handed back to me, fixed as I had asked, literally 5 minutes later. Cant beat that!!

Regarding the sound -- it was even better than I thought. Everything just seems so detailed & balanced (I dont have the experience or terminology to explain things as you gurus here)...it is unoffending without being dull. There have been a few times in my short time here at Head-Fi where I've been absolutely wow'd by new equipment and this is definitely one of those! I'm rediscovering all my music.

(i think I'll stop now before I sound any more like an ad for UE....)

Yeah! I get to do the first post-tour report!!!!!!

In a word, the folks at UE ROCK!

I've been messing around in the HI-FI and home theater hobbies for quite some time, I've attended CES, CEDIA, and a few other trade shows, product demos and even a couple of line shows (no, I'm not a dealer, just an enthusiast), and rarely has a manufacturer gone out of their way to make me (a regular-guy shmuck) feel so at home at a product demo.

It quickly became apparent how enthusiastic and knowledgeable they all were about their products, it made for a very enjoyable and educational afternoon. More details later, I'm getting ready to board my flight at SNA.

Now the bad news for everyone who could not attend, the door prizes were extraordinary. Each attendee received a pair of either the super.fi 5Pro or super.fi 5EB phones! NO!, I'm not kidding!

One very lucky dude (make that SUPREMELY LUCKY dude) who came all of the way from Denver just for the demo received a full-on custom pair of UE-10Pros in a laser engraved case! Gratis!!! (insert numerous UE10 Pro smileys here)!

As for the 10Pro's, the sound is nothing sort of spectacular!

Just call me "Lucky"!

BTW, did I mention that the entire Ultimate Ears staff ROCKS!

...more later, gotta fly.....
