I suck because I cannot seem to separate the grill from the cup - perhaps cutting/grinding with a dremel is the only solution. I may take up kramer5150's offer for assistance...

Have you tried heating up the outer edges of the rims with a hairdryer? Do this and then use a spoon as a 'prybar' type thing. You will have to use some force, there is lots of glue!

Thanks! And yea, I'll be putting in a detach mod later this week. But I don't know if I'll use the black or the silver Neutrik 3.5 mono plugs. I think the silver look really nice, especially with a heatshrink cover! What do you all think? The modding is not done yet!

Man, I'm itchin' to mod my SR-60 with some metal screens, but I'm chicken. I'm pretty handy but I'm worried about detroying them while taking them apart. I know they only cost $70, but I'd hate to damage them.

The cable is 10 feet. The recable actually added a nice amount of warmth to the sound, which allows me to listen to the MS2s for hours without fatigue. Really took off the bright edge of the stock cable without sacrificing the detail.

Searched the thread for some link to get a beyer headband, but can't seem to find it. It's been asked many times in this thread but never answered, so I'll ask it again; does anybody have the link to the beyerpage where you can order the beyerheadband?

I've got a different headband pad option:

Sennheiser 580 pad, stuck on with Blu-tack . I'll get around to gluing it on one of these days.

Do you blowdry also? Which Shampoo do you recommend? Would you also recommend a Conditioner? And if someone has dandruff,would something like a dandruff shampoo keep flakes off the pads better?
Also,do you recommend doing it yourself,or sending the pads out to a salon?
I was thinking about sending my HD414 pads that i have on my Grados out to a salon to be dyed black.

Here you go mate you can buy it here but your minimum order has to be over 25 euro excluding p&p.So maybe have a look around and pick some spares up,414 pads another headpad maybe?
