Man I can't wait to get those Caspri GS1000 cups in my hands :)

As for the sound on spralted woods, my current set of spralted Tamarind sound really good to me. Or course I don't have any other wood cups to compare against at the moment, but I'm pleased with the results so far. And they look awesome too :P

I've a set of ms1-is in cocobolo cups and it calms the highs down, you do have to tune them a little though by pushing through every other hole in the driver then covering them with blue tak and placing some blue tak on the back of the metal part of the driver

A lot of people say to do this but what kind of improvement does it give?

It stops the drivers from resonating so much ,dampens the high shrill that it can produce

Aw man, should of done my homework better.  Won a ebay auction for what was supposed to be the PX100 II.  But they're actually PX100's.  It was advertised as II's in the title but I didn't really pay attention to the picture.  Didn't do enough homework to notice the difference first before buying.

You can ask for your money back then since the description was erroneous.

Try the blue tak on the back of some grado drivers and put in the wooden cup with out making the holes.you will still hear a difference but I wouldn't have thought you would get a likeness from a different manufacturers driver
