Nice!  I like the look of the raw edges on the leather headband.  Did you sew this, or have it done?

as far as cabling and such I was under the impression that these cups were going to be slotted to allow quick cable changes so wire up a pair of naked drivers, shove em' in and enjoy!

OK.  Thanks for the information.  I actually have a pair of virgin Allesandro MS1i headphones that I'll be able to use for the task.  But, I still might look for a pair of spare drivers to buy, but would really love if someone had a single Magnum v. 3.5, which I could pair up with my other good one.

These are going to have a slit in the side for easy driver switching.....You just need a driver with cable soldered on.

Great.  Thanks.  I did get a PM sent off to Mr. Ed today a bit earlier.   I'm in the rodeo at this point ... or, so I believe.

I finished the gimbals today! I'm now finished with this pair of SR-80i cans! Time to sit back and enjoy the music!

Last night I cut the Slots in the side of the cups for easy driver switching.

My drivers fit nice and snug, I lightly sanded around the driver after liberating it. Your drivers should firmly fit in the cups and since there are no screens you can push them out easily with your thumb.

Here’ a picture of driver with cable in slot in a nice chocolate Maple cup. Why do I always get hungry when I work on these cups?

Nice.  Very good.  So,once the demo is done, I guess it's crazy to send them back to Canada.  Possibly, a donation to the charity of your choice in exchange for a pair of cups?  :D

These are very simple cups, with no lip for a screen and on the other side the wood type is written in permanent marker, you'd have a hard time sanding it out and I have bad penmanship so they look pretty bad. Although you might not notice it on the walnut cups much.

I'm hoping  they will be passed around for awhile.

If you want a set of cups I'm sure we could trade for something ....I'm looking for a leather covered L-cush.

If I get my hands on a SR60i or another Grado, I would love to participate.
