Grado V Sennheiser 1/4-1/8 adapter - Page 2

I have used both and prefer the Grado. They sound close enough I can't tell them apart, but the solid feel of the connection with the Grado is superb. I have two Senn ones, one came with my HD650 and one witha friend's HD595. The Hd650 has a short wire to rduce stain as the Grado does, the HD595 does not. This translates into a 4" long solid shaft when your 1/4" plug is connected and serious strain on my iPod jack.

Could someone post a link to the sennheiser adapter? My friend is destroying his ipod with the ratshack, and I cant stand watching it anymore.

....but I couldnt find it on sennheiserUSA

Thanks!

I have both. I hear no sonic differences. I usually use one or the other based on needs (Senn to fit into smaller spaces/Grado to have thicker front to stablize). If I had to go with one one it would be the Senn (because Grado doesn't fit SM amp, etc.).

part number 092595

you will find it as an adapter under any headphone that came with a 1/4" jack on the cable, even if they shipped with a different adapter (HD595, HD650...)

I've been curious as to whatever happened to that.... ended up making my own 1/4"-1/8" adapter with Cardas wire.
