I have been using a super tweeter add on for many years and even though the claim is made "there is nothing up there" and most associate this with "BRIGHT" i find this not to be the case and the pesence added while not noticeable as such is still there and when removed i miss it.

Not being a writer I sometimes can not put my thoughts into words and rely on others to make the case for me then provide the link to a page from likeminded p[eople who can write what i am thinking so this is one of those :

No real science but more seat of the pants and in house listening, the way i do it.

and no,i don't own the product mentioned and do not see aquiring one being tight enough to squeek when i walk

I use a modified $5 Radio shack Piezo Horn Tweeter mounted in a damped wood frame and using a resistor crossover and capacitor attenuator ( piezo does not have a resistive element like a speaker which is stated in ohms so being a capacitive element a resitor actually acts as a crossover when used across the tweeter and an inline capacitor as an attenuating pad,Weird but true)

i find using a super tweet personally essential and by flipping the in/out switch always need to flip to "on" to be happy
