$400 Integrated amp or receiver??

I'll have NHT SB-3's. I thought the budget for my amp would be more but unfortunately it won't be. I've been looking into the onkyo power amp m-282 and nad C320BEE. I may pick up the nad, but I am worried about the 50 watts of power. I know that 50 should blow most people away with most speakers. But the NHT's are known to be inefficient and I'm not sure how much power they actually need. What else should I be looking at in this price range?

How big is the room?

How far are you sitting?

What kind of music are you listening to?

The NHT are probably 86db sensitive. The 50 watts should be sufficient in a small to medium sized room. NAD amps are designed to have power in reserve in case of musical peaks. Get a used NAD for around $280 that way you wont lose anything if you want to sell it. You could also use it as a preamp and buy a NAD 2700 amp if you want more power. They go for around $200 on Ebay.

I'd probably go with the Nad C352 (I'm assuming it can't be much over $400 considering for how much it goes here, correct me if I'm wrong) as it looks like it has a few small but important improvements (volume pot) over the 320bee.

It also has more power, and I believe (not sure!) that it can be bridged when combined with a power amp, so you'd know that you're not wasting the power section if it's still not enough...

I was thinking about buying this for a basement system, but you have great speakers, and you need it more than I do.
