Isolation for the Scout

I still haven't got around to an isolation platform for the Scout and I'm wondering what others recommend.
So far, I'm considering the Ginko Cloud, one of the Black Diamond Racing kits (pucks, etc.) or maybe just getting a slab of granite and setting it on top of some sorbothane feet.
Any thoughts?

I'd go for the granite/sorbothane feet option myself (possibly because i like the asthetics of granite!)

If I went w/ the Granite, do you think it makes sense to try to further isolate the plinth from the motor by having a separate platform for the motor? Maybe create a "cutout"in the granite w/ separate feet?
Just an idea I've been contemplating. Not sure if it's worth the trouble or expense. By the time I have someone cut the granite it may be as expensive as the other options.

When I had a Scout, I originally used a Neuance shelf and later used the BDR isolation kit from Music Direct. I preferred the BDR kit because it seemed to allow for a more organic sound and set-up was slightly easier. I really wish that I still had a vinyl set-up. Enjoy the sweet sounds...

The key to the Scout is to isolate the motor vibration from the rest of the table.

I have used various combinations of sorbothane bumpers and sheet in place of the standard feet on the motor to accomplish this.

I don't see any of the listed solutions decoupling the motor from the shelf or stand.

As for isolation from vibrations caused by people walking around etc, I have mine on a Salamander Archetype 5 with spikes on a hardwood floor, and I have never had a problem with skipping etc when people have been walking near the stand. All I have done is add spike protectors to protect the surface of the cherry wood shelves.

The BDR kit includes a mini shelf for the motor and 4 pucks for the spiked feet. It does isolate the motor from the rest of the TT.

Right.
So would my idea of cutting out a section of the granite that the motor would sit on. Just don't know about the economics of granite fabrication.
My bathroom counter was DAMN expensive.
