50th Anniversary Slideshow Music Recommendations

I'm doing a slideshow for my parent's 50th anniversary party. I'm looking for any recommendations for music for the slideshow. I've got like four segments:

Mom and dad before marriage
The Wedding/Honeymoon
The kids
Emptynest / Grandkids

I've got some old standbys like Carpenter's "We've Only Just Begun" and Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World" being considered. For the kids part (three sons), I was thinking the "Monkee's Theme Song".

Thanks in advance

Is there any music that was particualrly meaningful to your parents? What were they listening to in 1955? Anything the family listed to when you were kids?

My folks didn't really favor anyone in particular. My dad though,
does listen to the big bands like Benny Goodman every once in awhile.

I did look at the top hits of 1955 and the 50s in general and didn't like
anything that I saw.

So any suggestions, even from more modern times would be welcome.

I just rifled through my library so sorry if these suck for the purpose

Mom and dad before marriage - Queen "You are my best friend" or "crazy little thing called love"
The Wedding/Honeymoon - The Cure "Pictures of you"
The kids - The Beatles "Revoloution" or The Who "Teenage Wasteland"
Emptynest / Grandkids - Bob Dylan "Forever Young"
