Does anyone have this?

I read the review at pitchfork, and it sounds pretty cool. I have had zero exposure to Nine Inch Nails, but I saw the double VHS at a music store today for fifteen dollars. It is closing in two days, so should I buy it, or not?

yeah

pretty cool

hard to come by
(so they say)

still not available on DVD
(legal issues holding it up)

1 tape is music videos -- all the way up to... "the perfect drug"
??
can't remember

other tape is live concert footage plus some backstage stuff,
i believe

if you're a fan, go for it

based on what you typed... go for it anyway, and sell it to a fan, haha.

and $15 for brand new is really good.
i think i paid more than that waaaaay back when it first came out.

where do you exist that you've had 0 exposure to NIN??

Oh yeah.

I forgot to mention that it is pretty used.

It has a fairly worn out slip case.

In addtion to that, I assume that the actual VHSs are not in great shape, although I did not look at them.

I have been thinking about it, and right now I am planning on buying it.

One tape is live concert footage and between songs shows backstage what goes on in dressing room area......band breaks things and does usual juvenile actions to amuse themselves. I believe there is segment where Bowie drops by but doesn't do much but sit on couch and watch the bizarre circus.

Other tape has full unedited versions of 13 videos covering material before "fragile" Also has the infamous "happiness in slavery" video which shows graphic scences of sexual mutalation, not sure where they thought this video (more like short story film) was going to be played.......

The problem with VHS of course is quickly accessing any given point of the tape to watch a specific item.

hmm.

in that case, i hope that works out.

hopefully was just the property of someone that didn't store them properly, and the actual tape itself is in really good condition (what really matters).

good luck with that!

What is it that compels you to go around resurrecting Nine Inch Nails related threads from 5+ years ago?

Maybe it's Trent Reznor trying to get his fans back.

Anyway you can download the unreleased DVD version at Pirate Bay (don't worry, it's cool)

Disc One

Disc Two

I've been burning DVDs with cover art for anyone interested.
