headphones for listening michael jackson - Page 3

One of my fave moments was slapping the K1000 on at the Qualia mini-meet for "Black and White" and listening to the craptastic intro that culkin was listening to on his crappy stereo - then the KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK on the door - DAMN! It was funny to pass that track around the meet and people looking at me like i was crazy until the door knocking came in!

Gear mentioned in this thread:

I have the Michael Jackson Number Ones, the compilation best hits album. I notice that is quitebright with my setup. I also notice it is sigificantly louder then all my other cds so I had to lower my amp's volume by one and a half notch. It doesn't mention remastered anywhere.

Yeah when I first heard that I almost had a heart attack cause it sounded like someone was actually beating on my door.

Mike.
A person can believe someone to be guilty of something, regardless of whether he's convicted in a court of law. The court of public opinion isn't bound by what a jury finds/hasn't been tasked with finding. Which is why I say O.J. is a murderer.

Now whether Jackson is a pedophile....I don't know. But I wouldn't trust children around him and if I had to wager on it my money wouldn't go in his favor.

Pedophile or not he has made some great music. His cds are without a doubt some of the best produced and well recorded albums that i've ever heard.

Get a young and fresh headphone that hasn't been on the market too long .

One audiophile mag named "Billie Jean" as their #1 reference track for high frequency response. The remastered "HIStory Vol. 1" is clean as a whistle. Even my SR200 doesn't do MJ justice I believe - that's just one damn good recording. Kudos, Quincy Jones!

Quincy Jones is the man! Have you heard the Q701?

I must say, I cannot imagine Michael Jackson sounding better than on the LCD-2. Once everything burnt-in, I was "He-He"ing and grabbing my crotch for hours at end! bigsmile_face.gif

My vote is the Beyer T70.

Same here. Billy Jean sounds brilliant on the Audeze. gs1000.gif
