Salvaged Volume controls

Ok, I've salvaged two volume pots from various broken pieces of equipment, and I'm having trouble determining the pinouts.

They both have five pins, since these were removed from stereo devices I'm assuming they're dual channel pots, and use a common ground pin.

I'm unsure how to go about searching for the ground and output pins... I've taken some measurements, but I don't think they make sense. (From the pin I think is ground I find two pins that don't change when the pot is turned, and two that do; as I would expect. BUT one side ranges from 84K Ohms to 0 ohms, while the other side ranges from 42K ohms to 0 ohms.)

Anybody know how I should go about this?

Thanks;

What is the resistance on the two pins that don't change?

42K ohms and 84K ohms

I'm baffeled, but that's not hard to do with most of this stuff...

42k is the resistanvce from the input pin to ground. 84k is likely the resistance from one input to the other input pin.
