Panasonic SL-CT570 able to read CD-R?

Hi everyone,

I just got my first CD burner, the Yamaha 3200.

Does anyone know whether the Panasonic SL-CT570 will play a CD-R? I haven't installed the Yamaha burner yet, and didn't see any mention of CD-R in the 570's documentation.

TIA,

Dave

Mine reads them fine, but as always, it's dependant on the media, how you burn it, the burner you used, and the cd player itself.

I have had no problems whatsoever reading any CD/R's on my 570.

Got my burner going!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your replies on the Panasonic SL-CT570 and CD-Rs. I just burned my first compilation disk, and the Panasonic had - as others said - absolutely no problem reading it. And it sounded great to these middle-aged ears! <smile>

Hwever, my stereo system's Rotel CD player couldn't access the first track. Interesting!

Thanks,

Dave in SLC

I to have had no problems. Be sure to take care with the CD-Rs as they are more prone to damage.

Mine reads CDR just fine, even the really cheap ones too.
