Ray, I'm number 11 unless someone backs out and if they do, I fully expect to move up. Don't make me come to Chicago and move in with you to give her a listen! I haven't heard my gear for.....well, it's been so long I can't remember when I got to enjoy it last. It's definitely got me on edge and more than a bit crazy. Nothing worse or more frightening than a southern redneck who's a bit off his rocker.
Ray>I wouldn't worry so much that he is crazy and from the south...he support the habs.......'nuff said

Anyway seeming you keep hassling poor Ray he said I could get the No.11 spot. I said "Hell Yeah".....

Congrats Ray. I was really impressed by the sound of the Raptor and if I didn't already own a Stealth (now w/ custom tape out option!) I'd really be considering one. My impression was that that the Raptor might be slightly more adapted to low Z cans; is that true?
I'm very happy w/ my Stealth and don't plan to buy a Raptor but it sounded great and others might like to hear what the differences are even if the circuit is similar.
Good luck my friend and may you get all the orders you want and only those you can fill.
CPW
PS I bought some Grados (325i) in spite of my Senn allegiance and previous lack of enthusiasm for the Grados. I must admiot that the HR-2 does a great job w/ them.

ive got ray's production model on hand, and it bests my HR-2 with the rs-1's but it makes the 650/zu really sing, here's a quote i said to bhd812 about whay i feel about the 650/zu and the raptor:

"the raptor makes the 650 sing like an operatic star, fully resonant, not a single ounce of restraint in dynamics or emotion, fully passionate with the soul and purity of an innocent child, with technique bordering on the line between perfection and the sublime"

Sorry about the hyperbole, but even though i love the rs-1 with the raptor, the 650/zu is simply glorious with it, ach im in love

Now here's a thought if it makes the 650's sing then it will make the HP-2's sing as well.......

I have the pictures ready, I am looking for some one to host them, I could mail them to any one who is capable, as I am zero in that matter.
