I am afraid no, master takato14. I do not sell or trade my headphones. I like to sleep well. ;)

Pictures of the orthos? how did you keep away from this thread being a ortho  lover?

I did not keep away from this thread. In fact, I am right in the middle of reading it all over from the beginning (page 761 just yesterday).

It is just me being a "read, listen and learn" kind of guy.

Here's my ortho lineup (I can now somehow upload pictures):

Something i whipped up on my 3d printer, uses t50rp drivers and is open back. They are the only pair i have finished so far but i'm working on a couple other designs. This is just a hobby though i still have a day job so not much time for building. Maybe if time permits ill put up a thread showing the construction photo's.

How do they sound? How'd you get the headband for the headphones?

Since they use the T50rp driver they sound good naturally. I wont use any audiophile lingo here and i only have my own collection of hp's to compare with but its my opinion they sound just as good or better then anything else i own, keeping in mind they are open and can let in unwanted outside noise.

The headband is from some 60's hp's, relatively cheap on ebay and easy to work with. All metal and since its already held up for 50+ years i figure they will never break.

Fair enough. Do you have any recommendations for specific cans to chose for the headband? I kind of want to make a frankenphone.

Well its some what of a guessing game when ordering online you cant measure the headband , for mine i built the driver encloser to fit any type of headband. By making the face removable it can be swapped for different plates that are built to fit about anything. Its good for trying out small design changes without having the rebuild the whole thing. But without my 3d printer i wouldn't have been able to do any of this because i don't have a shop anymore. If you have a mill its easy to scratch build anything. Try ebay for vintage military headphones if you need a real small headband for drivers around 30mm or vintage pioneer for real large drivers.

Since this is a bit off topic should probably pm me with any other questions.
