BeyerDynamic owners unite... - Page 108

I used to have a series of Beyers, they are:

1. Beyer XP1 (asia region only product)

2. Beyer XP3 (asia too)

3. DT770 PRO 250 Ohm

4. DT440

5. the most current one Custom One Pro

I'm currently trying out other cables with COP, and seems not all 3.5mm jack fits the COP, thats quite a problem, need to sand off that clip at the housing on the jack input area :/

My O2 has no trouble with the DT990/600, so you should be fine.

I have mine nearly 3 months, ~Sometimes i think the headphone is getting better even after burn in but I don't know if its just in my head or not.

Managed to get a iBasso Pb1 for $100, add about $30 for the balanced cable and I've got twice the power of the O2 with the epic price of the o2 ;3

I have BeyerDynamic DT531's and I've just joined the forum...

I'm looking for information on Androids and DACs as I have a HTC One ... the D531's and the HTC One sound pretty good together.

After a sting of Sennheisers, I picked up some dt990 pro 250ohm. Did a recable and tiny xlr mod. Then modded to a headset.

Stumbled across a refurbished MMX300 on ebay and won them for £72. Sold the 990 and now on the look for some 880 to try:)

I have had the T5p headphones for about a year now, but just joined the forums.  I bought them for use at work, since they don't bleed sound very much and I didn't want to bug my coworkers.  I'm not using an amp at all at work right now, though I'm thinking about getting one.

I must say, these headphones sound better than any other headphone I've ever owned.  They're also the most expensive headphones I've ever owned, by quite a substantial margin, but totally worth it!  I tend to like Sennheiser headphones, and almost purchased a set of those (can't remember the model, but it was similarly priced), then decided to take a chance with Beyerdynamic.  I'm so glad I did!  These 'phones are incredible!

the beauty of the T5p is they sound the way they do and without an amp necessary.  of course an amp really puts it to the top but you can totally experience audiophile grade sound straight from an iphone.

hi to all of you head -hi -fi - heads. i ve tried just two phones, the hd 600s and the beyer T1s, and the t1s are my favorite.why? Because they are clean and oh so clear.im waiting on an ob2 from jdslabs and am curious about what music they will make with the T1s.

Hey guys I'm going to picking up a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 600 ohm and a pair of Beyerdynamic T90s pretty soon and was wondering what amp would make them sound the very best? My DAC is going to be the Asus Xonar Essence STX. I had almost decided on the Schiit Valhalla but I figured I could get some more input before I make my final decision. Thanks in advance.
