Could you please explain the rear inputs and loops. I don't understand the meaning of 2 RCA plugs for "R section" and "L section". Sorry for the ignorance.
Also, I see you have a Balanced Cable for the Senns. Where did you get that?
Re: The Audio Aero DAC, I went on the website, but no US distributors. Where did you get it, how did you discover them, and did you audition it before buying it? Oh, BTW what did it cost? This is something I am interested in. They say in the website it makes CD=SACD. "Special information on the 16 bit CD is used". Very mysterious, but if it works...voila!

The loop outs are so you can loop other amps off the two amps (L or R) The inputs are so you can run other sources into the amp besides balanced. I can run a balanced source, or two sources using the rca jacks, or use spliters and run one source via the rcas and then use three different pr. of headphones at the same time. There are two complete SDS amps in the amp box and two power supplys in the power supply box. It also has preamp output, an extra set of balanced inputs. I run the SCD-1 balanced into the amp and the Audio Aero balanced into the amp. I can switch between all the different option with two selector switches on the side of the amp.
Yes the AA DAC is far better in every way than the sacd playback of the scd-1. The AA also has preamp cababilites and can be adjusted between 0-5 volts input for the volume. This is very nice since it allows me to open the steps on the amp and then fine tune the volume with the DAC.
I got the DAC from Ricky Brown. He is an Audio Aero dealer and was recomended by the US distributor. I found him through audiogon. here is his email address.

The price was $5700.00. You can get the normal version for $4995.00 but I went ahead and got the SE version which has upgraded caps in the da/section. I owned a Capitole MKII CDP before so I knew what to expect from The DAC. They run 8700.00. I have 2300 into the Sony and 650.00 for my digital cable. so it came in a little over the cost of a new Capitole MKII. But the sound is better. I am saving now for a new transport. They will not ship the Audio Aeros if you have a dealer close to you. I will PM you the importers email and phone# later today. Sorry about the long reply. PM me if you have any other questions and I will be glad to answer them.
The cable is a Zu Mobius with the XLR connectors.
The US distributor of Audio Aero is Gole Audio. Here is there website.
