Where do you buy a High quality cable

I am getting the Audio technica A500 and i have sure E2c. I want to run a cable up to the top of my desk so I can just plus either in depending on which I would like to use,. Where can i get a nice high quality cable that wont decrease the sound quality. I would like one with the neon sheething on it

well the kind of cable you are asking for would be helpful

power, mini, headphone recable, y split and so on

I guess it would be mini jack, so i can plug into sound card and then my headphones into it,

So a 1/8" extension cable. You will likely have to have one custom made for you since you want it to be neon. I would post a thread in the cables FS/FT forum asking someone to make you one.

neon is not a very common color used for audio cabling (too loud of a color). It may be difficult to find someone that has some neon flex. but ya as mention prior, post a WTB thread on the sales forum.

Could it be that noen = nylon? And nylon as in techflex? Or am I just being silly?

You could save yourself a whole lot of hassle, and get better performance than a DIY cable by simply buying the Cardas HPI. Of course, it won't be neon colored. You could use masking tape to cover the plugs and then paint it using any color Day-Glo spray paint you desire.

That cable is a mini-mini, not an extension cable.

Yeah, he will need a female mini so that cable does not really fit his needs. Also, what makes you think that it would be better than a DIY cable?

Anyways... I suggest sending an email to a couple of the DIY builders. I have been very happy with cables from Larry at www.headphile.com myself.
