Ruhrpottler?
Neither me nor babelfish quite caught that one...
What does the word mean?

smuh: What shall I say? Als Bayer is' einem das z'blöd!

Zachiel: Ruhrpottler is a person coming from a bunch of ctities near the river Ruhr, which got/were very important especially in the zenith of German heavy industry, because there was quite a bit of coal in the area. That's the short explanation - however, it's almost impossible to convey everthing that one typically associates with the "Ruhrpott" as a German...

onkyo´s release date for the 90pci îs may 25th? doh! guess the translation/guide will have to wait

and after we´ve all got our cards, the driver installation will tell us that our installed os has to be the japanese version aswell

Promising

One thing to note for modders: it looks like the copper ground plane is attached OVER one of the DIP opamps, so things might get tricky.

Just got my order from audiocubes. From initial listening, what I can tell is that the card sounds quite a lot better than the revo. The stereo imaging is very accurate and the sound is warmer than the revo. Currently I am just connecting it to my klipsch computer speakers. I will test the 2ch output on an amp and better speakers in my living room Oh, the drivers are just the reference VIA drivers... it has multiple languages, but the bad part is that I can't seem to get ASIO and kernel streaming to work in foobar. Anyone have any ideas?

You are talking about the SE-150PCI I assume?
yes, the SE-150PCI
I still can't get ASIO or kernel streaming to work with foobar, and I also saw on another forum saying that the VIA reference drivers doesn't support these?

ASIO isn't supported by the reference drivers but Kernel Streaming is. Be sure that you have the digital output enabled with the sample rate set to 44.1 KHz and that you have Foobar configured for 32-bit (or 16 or 24-bit padded to 32-bit) output.

I have tried your recommended settings, still foobar doesn't play with kernel streaming. I am getting this error: ERROR (foo_out_ks) : KS output error: error opening device.

Strange. Close and open Foobar then try to play a song and copy the entire console window into a post to give us more information on what it is trying to do.

alright, here it is...
INFO (CORE) : startup time: 344 ms
INFO (CORE) : opening file for playback :
INFO (CORE) : location: "file://D:\Mp3\Miriam Yeung\10 Miriam 2ep Play It Loud,Kiss Me Soft\y2k0903b06.mp3" (0)
ERROR (foo_out_ks) : KS output error: error opening device.

pls don't mind the chinese singer... but anyways... i can't really get it to work with kernel streaming in any way. The only way i can get sound is with directsound or waveout.

What mode are you using? In Hi-sample rate mode you'll have to resample to 96khz in foobar. Also, try using 3.10a drivers http://downloads.viaarena.com/driver...vers_V310a.zip

It would be interesting to see how this card compares to EMU 0404/1212M, especially the modded variants since this card seems so neatly put together with little to no room for tweaking/modding.

Good stereo + gaming support = looks good to me!
