Hd 515 cable question

Hi, can someone point me in the right direction on how to make your own cable replacment (if feasible) for the hd-515's? The cable on my pair are so snagged and tangled that wearing them is a pain. I would buy the replacement cables, but fear that that cable will share the same fate. Thanks .

I recently got the HD-515s myself. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no source for the connector to do a DIY design. I have read somewhere that because the model is less than two years old, Sennheiser will only fix or replace, not offer replacement cables--at least in the USA. You can probably order a replacement cable from the UK, but, like you said, it might suffer the same fate. Unless somebody knows of a premade connector that fits, we'll have to wait. Let me know if you find out differently.
