I've been listening to my akg k240s when a thought hit me, why don't I eq for a more gradolike frequency response? So I did, I tried to boost the frequency response of my k240s to the same level as the rs-1s according to headrooms graph. Instantly the midrange has more attack and snap and guitars sound more detailed and present. It works well so try it yourself just use: http://www.headphone.com/layout.php?...subTopicID=189.
My settings in winamp:
170hz +1.7db
3k +6.7db
6k +6.7db
It seems to brighten up the midrange and give the bass more groove without more overall brightness/muddiness.
