first off I would like to thank everyone who replyed in my "need a cool looking rack" thread...all your replys were a big help.

In the end it came down to cost and something that sort of matched the g08, I am moving in a year so when I do I will get something more serious. until then this is perfect.

I choose the studiotech hf-4g-b rack. its a glass 4 shelf rack with black legs.
Its nice and strong and hell, I might later on get the glass tinted.

Ok before we get into pics I have to say this is just a temp setup. when My RSA RAptor comes in I will have to play with the placement of everything cause the big hot power supply and its cord length to the tube amp itself.

here is a pic of everything all together..

here is a pic of a close up of the two bottom shelves. the last shelf has the monster power conditioner and a set of black 325's and 125's.
the second to bottom displays the hr2 power supply between the gold 325's and the silver 325's

here is a pic of the top two shelfs..
the top has the hr2 between a mess of headphones (when the raptor comes in I will have that next to the hr-2 with less headphones on the top). headphones on the top shelf includes,rs-1,rs-2,ms-2,hd600,ps-1
the second to the top shelf has the g08 towards the back so the headphone cables dont touch. I am going to switch the 9'in legs used now to the 7'in legs to bring the g08 up more and close the gap...this is when the raptor comes in again.

what do you all think?

Nice. Couldn't find the "HS" but did see the "HF" but no pic. From the description, it sounds like the one you've pictured. Is yours the HF model or am I missing the HS version?

nice pics, I like the eye candy,

Grados by far must have the most "baseball" card type reputation then any headphone company on the market, ive never seen more headphones of one type be collected just for the sake of collecting before.

Billy:

That looks really good. Everything has a place and there is enough room to make a visually elegant presence. I think you should stick with it for awhile. What I liked most about the display is how simple everything looks yet it is beautiful and functional too.

I too have invested a lot of my money into this Headphone Hi-Fi hobby. Although my cheap IKEA Corras table is no match for your rack, it gets the job done cheaply.

When I get my new career at the US Postal Service, then I will be back to upgrade...heh, at least I have admitted it now and this thread of yours (and the pictures) give me good ideas.

Thank you all for the lovely comments..lol

Welly you hit it on the head, if you stand a foot and a half away and look down at the rack you can see the green led's on the power cond on the bottom shelf, ontop of that in perfect place is the hr2 power supply (Ray puts somuch work into this its a shame not to display this), the Go8 hovers above the power supply but more towards the back, ontop the hr2 is dead center with everything else....
one view and you ccan see everything is what I wanted from the glass shelves. to bad I am going to mess it up with the raptor coming in..but thats more fun of placement

thank you
Billy D

hmmm no offense but what a waste of money. Why not sell all your Grados bar one? I have RS-1's but see no reason to even have another set of Grados for "home use"

I can understand Senn + Grado, but Senn + 8 Grado's?

Do you have a speaker system?

bhd you have too many headphones i want... What a great Grado collection!

Could you PM me how much you think the difference is between the 325s and 325i? Just a line saying "Wow, the new ones just beat the old ones right outta the box" - to confirm my thoughts ^^

In what order do you listen to those all every day?

But seriously, which one are you using most anyhow?

Well out of the box and un-burned in the 325i's rocked and the silver 325's where very painful. but after burn in I like the silver 325's better...I havent given the 325i's alot of listening time after burn-in ...I will later though.

Every few days I seem to switch them in listening, sometime I will listen to a few sets in one day...
The rs-2's have had my ears for 2 weeks solid strait...which is pretty un-heard of. these rs-2's for the time they had alone are pretty amazing...rite now they are my current fav.
