THIS site will tell you the number #1 record at the time you were born....providing you were born after 1952 in Europe or after 1955 in the U.S. If earlier, ( like me) they suggest you go for your 18th birthday (life song) .... mine was American Pie by Don McLean (US) and I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing by the New Seekers (UK). Yuk.
