So thats still about £28 - Sorry but i'd just replace the one that died (not that you should have to) and tell him to be bloody thankfull that he got even that as they're so old and could have died at any minute.Hell - point him in my direction and i'll tell him how it is

If it's out of warranty, they wouldn't charge more than 33% of the MSRP of the headphones including shipping.

i wrote sennheiser asia a few emails to direct me to an A/S center in Korea but no response... other the people in Singapore cant speak english or are too slack... P)(@*)($*#)(

Hey Oink1

Thanks for your offer *blows kiss*. I found a source where the capsules are £9 each...much better! And I know how to fit them myself now, so things look better. I rang the place he bought them from and indeed they said that with heavy usage they would be due to go anyway, just as you said. I sent him a message to say that I had been told that there would be a difference between old and new especially with heavy use and had they been used a lot and he walked right into it and said they had had EXTREMELY heavy use. So I said that I had ordered two capsules and had been told that they were due to go with the heavy use anyway. He has been quiet since. When they arrive I will ask him for the price of one of them. You are right I should only pay for one and he should be grateful for all the running about I have done, even saving HIM money as well as myself. I will keep you posted whether I manage to fix them and if in fact, I do wrap them round his neck

Sounds good to me

They will not be delivered for a couple of weeks, so will get back then. Thanks.
