i heard that the stress of the grado cord on a mdp headphone input can be too much and result in damage.. how can i get around this?

there are adapters out there (Radioshack probably) with which you can put an L-shaped plug (like earbuds usually have) on your Grado plug. that should help.
as obnoxious as he can be
Beagle is right too, the plug and cord and everything is kinda heavy, and the MDP probably pretty light, it's easy to break stuff with such a combination.
