Tube Testing

hey all, I've got a question, I've been in search for a Sylvania GB 5751 w/ gold pins for a while, I found one, but it seems that "Tests indicate this tube is strong on one side and just OK on the other" now, what does that mean for the tube, and sound?? I know nothing about tubes, so I put it up here for discussion.. thanks

That means,"don't buy it".Why the GB 5751?Find a reputable dealer that sells tubes to audiophiles and musiclovers.these dealers will likely sell only good used tubes or NOS(New Old Stock) tubes which would fit your application.I likeUpscale Audio as well as Triode Electronics Kevin Deal at upscale is the man and has some very rare stuff. The guys at Triode have seen just about every tube ever made and know about them all.Either dealer is a good bet.
