Itunes and ASIO, possible y/n?

I hate to say it but I like the Itunes interface

Can asio be used with Itunes (I'm a new Emu 0404 so sorry for any dumb question that 0404 users have been asked before).

I've got Foobar using asio but Itunes is using WAV output on the patch strip of the 0404.

Or alternatively, does anyone know of a foobar/winamp plugin that does the database search options like Itunes.

Ta,

Steve

iTunes cannot use ASIO, no way to hack it to either, at least so far.

There is a plugin for Foobar called foo_tunes, or something like that, which is supposed to emulate the iTunes interface fairly well. I've not had any personal experience with it, though.

Did a quick scan for it and the Foobar site have stopped suggesting it and the author no longer wants to support it.

Thought there may have been an Itunes hack though.

Alternately, I'm sure that someone out there has made an iTunes skin for Winamp 5.

I read that iTunes sends a bit perfect output to an Airport Express if volume is set to max and nothing like sound check or or any other processing is enabled.

I use it with an RME Digi96/8 PAD sound card, whose Wave Out output bypasses, kmixer.

Foobar seems to be a purer player, but I, like you, like the iTunes interface and ergonomics.

Don't be afraid, there is nothing wrong with that.

There is, actually, but everybody's allowed their flaws.
