These headphones look really cool and thats why I bought them for 20.56 total on ebay. They don't sound to great though... I figured as much. But I had a plan and it was to swap out the current drivers for some better ones... Which drivers to use?? My dear Denon 950's!! After some time spent with the dremel tool, a sharp knife, screwdrivers, soldering irons, many types of tapes, and several toxic glues I succeded in modding the Stantons!!
How do they sound?? Like Denon 950's with a tad more treble but smoother overall. A fact I attribute to the open air nature of the stantons. I totally dig them, and thanks to KR for clueing me in to the auction on EBAY where I picked these bad boys up!! They match my Minidisk player perfectly in looks and sonic response. Very cool!
