I love your work RnB180!

Would you ever consider selling me one? (I'm not handy at all).

heh, well it is all relative. Most of my time that I get to listen to music is on my commute, so that is where I want to hear really good sound.

Here is a picture of me wearing the headphones. I don't have a picture of the whole setup, but I put the mp3 player, the dac/amp, the battery packs and the zu mobius in my headroom traveller bag and keep my K271 Studio's in my headroom headcase bag... when they arent on my head that is.

Not that it matters, and I'm probably wrong or something, but aren't those backwards? Ah well, it's an awesome setup.

Remember, it's a photograph of a mirror image.

Does it do a good job of protecting the Karma and is it worth the high price?
I love it. It does exactly what it's suppose to do and keeps all the controls accessible. Is it worth the $$?? Guess it depends on the individual. For me it was but then I couldn't find anything else cheaper that appealed to me. Wouldn't do it for the iPods. Felt the iSkin was a better buy. Biggest complaint with the Vaja is the darned wait. They speak of 20 days but it took them almost 7 weeks to get my case to me. Guess adding the belt clip delayed things, huh? If money isn't a big deal and you want high quality and style, the vaja is the case. Some will say it's stupid to spend that much on a player that's going for $190 today. Maybe so but then again, lots of folks would say the same thing about people obsessed with headphones and amps for them.

Here's my new portable rig. The karma just came in yesterday. Gotta love gapless. It's also sitting on the Sony D-2 I found in my parent's garage a couple weeks ago.

made another cable today

26 awg triple braid, teflon insulated silver plated copper, silver bearing solder, Neutrik plugs, dual wall heatshrink and clear 1/4" tech flex.

selling them?

I received my parts express order today, so I have much better mini plugs now. I bought a few extra mini neutriks from parts express, Ill probably make a few extra if people want to buy them. how much is the going rate of silver/copper braided minis going for anyhow?

New toys: H10 and E2c. Both new. I got the UMS version (ie. the International version) and it works great.

Karma looks great! Gonna get a case for it? Mindknob seels them quite reasonably.

If you intend to start selling your wares, before you start announcing it on the forums, drop me or Jude a PM about maybe getting a Mall-Fi ad or something.

Cheers

Heh, I am a cheapskate at heart....though i fail at it usually. The Vaja case looks nice...but it seems to leave some areas unprotected, while the Minknob case gives pretty much complete coverage.

Yeah I'm definitly going to get a case. The Vaja, while nice, is way to expensive. It's more than 1/3 the cost of the Karma! The mindknob case looks really good, I'll end up ordering one when they're back in stock.
