Feel HP-200se Hybrid Tube/Mosfet amp (these pics aren't mine as I don't have the amp quite yet.

Wow! I never expected to see a HP-200se at the meet. I wanted to contact palchiu about getting me one of those amps sometime in the future. Now I can listen to it at the meet and decide...brilliant!

Psycho, awesome stuff. That HP200 is very cool. Your a meet unto yourself. I think it took me a little longer than 3 1/2 months to accumulate as much cool stuff. Nice work!

Is anyone bringing a Zu Mobius or Silver Dragon to the meet? I'd really like to hear these cables with my HD-650.

I've got a bunch of Senn replacement cables that I can bring, if you're interested. Problem is, last time we had a Florida meet (well, actually 2 meets ago), we were planning to do a "Senn replacement cable" shootout, where everyone would listen carefully to 5 or 6 of them, take notes, and then report back their impressions on the "meet impressions" thread. Of course it never happened. There are always bigger fish to fry at the meets, and cables become kind of a "Ya, ya, whatever..." type of after-thought.

I'd be happy to participate in such a shootout. Although I don't have a lot of experience evaluating and reviewing audio gear. I'll try though.

im lazy and dont want to hunt through the thread so i need some cliffs notes...

so this is going to be a saturday-sunday thing then?

also im guessing there is going to be a fee since we have to pay for a room?

also equipment i will be bringing is my Behringer DEQ-2496 EQ/DAC, my modded K1k's, my sonic impact amp, and i guess thats it... should i bring my peecee since its my (optical) source?

or i could look around for my sonica and use that with my laptop again... but i dont remember what i did with it lol

also i dont think im going to have a dynahi, i cant justify building it without hearing one... i just like my SI amp so much

also i am bringing my iso bar and a rackmount powerstrip thingie that has cool volt/amp meter movements

Frank, no fee. The room I found is relatively inexpensive. I hope to have a few items for a silent auction that should come close to covering the cost. The meet is Saturday. Saturday night those interested can go to my buddies audio store about 2 minutes from the meet hotel. We will hang, listen to music, maybe a movie in the ht room. I guess dinner in between. I don't know when everyone is leaving on Sunday, so what happends then is up in the air.

There will be a Dynahi there for you to check out. If I were you, start building because if you don't like I will be shocked.
